In 2024, Lucy Bradlow and Bronwen Bock launched Australia's first job-sharing campaign for federal parliament. Their proposal was simple - Parliament should be like any other workplace, where there are options for people who are unable or unwilling to work 24-7 and be always available. That strong leadership has leaders who reflect the lived realities of their constituents.

As a job-share candidate for the Senate, Lucy and Bronwen took their plan all the way to the Federal Court but were unable to have the matter heard before the 2025 Federal Election. They therefore could not run in the 2025 election but are continuing their case and advocacy for job-sharing in Parliament and beyond.
